Founded by renowned cigar master, Steve Saka, Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Cigars has developed a reputation for creating luxurious premium blends. Unlike many of the other leaders in the industry, Saka did not grow up with generations of tobacco heritage and knowledge. After receiving an engineering degree in the 1980s, he took his passion for premium cigars and traveled around the world, eventually becoming a master of tobacco and cigar-rolling technique. Saka’s resume includes the roll of executive consultant to JR Cigar, helping them both blossom into industry behemoths. The legendary Jonathan Drew offered Saka a position on the manufacturing side as president of La Gran Fabrica de Drew Estate, which expanded his of cigar and tobacco knowledge even further. In 2013, Saka retired only to burst back into the market in 2015 with Dunbarton Tobacco and Trust.
