Southern Draw created the Jacob’s Ladder line with a decadent array of premium tobaccos from three different countries. The name Jacob’s Ladder has three distinct origins, one of which is the company’s tradition of using names of flowering plants for its blends. It is also a reference to the son of two of Southern Draw’s founders, as well as a biblical reference to the Book of Genesis. To develop the perfectly balanced flavor profile, Southern Draw used a zesty Ecuadorian Maduro binder and a meaty, hand-selected Pennsylvanian Broadleaf wrapper. The core of the sophisticated blend features choice Nicaraguan tobaccos harvested from Esteli and Jalapa. In every crisp draw aficionados will taste notes of bittersweet chocolate, peppery spice, creamy nougat, licorice and espresso.
